Do not hold the baby while smoking, drinking hot beverages, or cooking near a stove.

Do not allow others to smoke around the baby.Before giving the baby a bath, test the water temperature with the inside of your wrist or forearm. Additionally, fill the bathtub (or sink) with water and test the temperature before placing the baby in it. To prevent scalding, set the maximum temperature of the tap water flow to no higher than 49°C.

Do not heat the baby's milk (or other food) in the microwave. Before feeding the baby, thoroughly stir and test the temperature of the milk.
